American Equus Joins

Phelps Media Group, Inc. International

Wellington, Fla. - Oct. 11, 2016 - Phelps Media Group, Inc. International, the country's leading equestrian public relations and marketing firm, is proud to welcome revolutionary stirrup and spur designer and manufacturer, American Equus, to their already impressive line-up of equestrian clientele. Phelps Media Group is looking forward to promoting American Equus' line of revolutionary stirrups and spurs to the equestrian community.

American Equus began organically as a way for founder David Shano to help his daughter, Chloe, stay secure in her stirrups as she moved up the levels in hunters and jumpers. Shano, who owns and manages several engineering and manufacturing firms in Arizona, immediately noticed that there was opportunity to improve upon current stirrup design and production methods around the world. Putting his years of engineering skills and experience to work, he developed a new product that is as safe as it is stylish.

Elite Stirrups from American Equus

The Elite line of stirrups incorporates an ergonomically optimized design that helps to shape a rider's leg around the horse. In addition, the foot beds are designed with unique patent pending traction pins to encourage a rider's boot to find and hold the stirrups with ease.

QUICK X spurs best reflect American Equus' ability to combine innovation and luxury. QUICK X spurs are designed from Billet aluminum and feature patent pending interchangeable shanks in 1/2 inch lengths. These shanks allow a rider to easily change the length of their spurs without dismounting their horse or taking the spur off of their boot! The QUICK X spurs come in a variety of colors and are appropriate for all riders.

American Equus merchandise is meticulously crafted out of lightweight and durable aluminum alloy. Hand polished finishes add a luxurious feel to the products that are of unparalleled performance and design. The collection of stirrups and spurs is the perfect mixture of equestrian tradition and 21^st century production technology, design and function.

American Equus products are perfect for all equestrian disciplines. The company designs and manufactures equipment suitable for the hunter/jumper and dressage disciplines as well as Western, racing and polo. Currently race jockeys are the cornerstone of American Equus' fan base. In fact, six of the top ten Thoroughbred racing jockeys ride in American Equus stirrups. Going forward, American Equus has its sights on expanding its consumer based throughout all disciplines and levels. American Equus also manufactures their products in the United States -- the only company to do so.

All American Equus products are completely customizable with a wide array of colors and sizes. No matter what the rider's needs, American Equus products help increase safety and stability when riding.

The team at American Equus is looking forward to educating more equestrians on the benefits of their products this winter at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Florida.
